Goethe and Furka (PDF file) Although it's an old invitation from 2004 to the opening of the book «Das Furka-Abenteuer» (The Furka Adventure), exactly 225 years after Johann Wolfgang Goethe's Swiss trip in 1779, it still provides information about the book and some relevant contacts.

Payments

Membership fees often get loaded additionally by considerable expenses, when they have to be paid from certain foreign countries. For such cases you may use the following PayPal payment tool. Although its primary aim was to collect donations for development projects of DFB Cog Steam Railways, payments with a specific note like "Edelweiss membership fee" will be forwarded to our association.

Of course, this button is also extremly well suited to accept your donations for our steam railway projects. For sure, without your on-going generosity there would be no Furka steam train. The SFB Furka Mountain Railways Foundation will provide for an effective use of your contribution.
Are you aware that these payments are tax deductible in Germany as well as in Switzerland?
Thank you very much!
